Choosing the size
Add the room length and width in metres and multiply by 10 for the diameter in centimetres. Over a dining table, choose half to two-thirds of the table width and hang the bottom 75–90 cm above the table. In a hallway keep at least 2.1 m clear headroom.
Which bulbs make crystal sparkle?
Clear LED candle or small globe bulbs. A small, bright point of light refracts best through crystal; frosted or opal bulbs flatten the effect. Use 2700K warm white for a classic look.
Chrome, gold or brass frame?
Chrome frames give a crisp, bright look suited to modern and formal rooms. Gold and antique brass frames feel warmer and more traditional, and suit period homes, hotels and restaurants.
Weight, fixing and cleaning
Crystal is heavy. Check the net weight on the product page and have your electrician confirm the ceiling fixing. Clean the crystals occasionally with a soft lint-free cloth, with the light switched off and cool.
Hospitality and projects
Crystal chandeliers are a staple of hotel receptions, restaurants, ballrooms and wedding venues. We can supply several matching pieces with wall lights from the same collection.
